Clayworks Studio and Gallery, a non-profit ceramics arts center located in downtown Charlotte, had its first fundraiser Saturday, April 22.

Clayworks was "All Fired Up" over dinner and drinks, plus live musical entertainment for over 100 attendees at the Studio. Guests enjoyed a raku firing and wonderful hand crafted raffle items donated by studio artists and students.

The highlight of the evening was a group throwing demonstration led by Greg Scott and Amy Sanders with other local potters such as Adrienne Dellinger, Ron Philbeck, Corine Guseman, Hal Dedmond, and Barbara Chadwick-Bland. The result of their work was an enormous assembled tea pot that will be on display at the studio.
