Greer grew up in Charlotte and has been playing in the mud her entire life. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in French from the College of Wooster and joined the Clayworks community in 2015. She also works full time with other creative types at the UNC Charlotte School of Architecture. Her creative work explores relational aesthetics and how community can be fostered through shared meals. Her senior thesis project, Come to the Table, integrated bread and ceramics in sculptural forms, offering bread each day as an invitation for visitors to participate in the exhibit. She enjoys making functional pottery that can highlight the beauty of mundane moments in daily life, and has made dishes for a variety of groups and events.
