Birthday Party Request Form

Clayworks will help you design a fun-filled, creative experience. Led by an experienced teaching artist, students ages 6-16 work in clay to create a piece of art. The party is 1.5 hours of hands-on ceramic creation time and 30 minutes for cake.

  • HANDBUILDING PROJECT: Choose from a list of Clayworks project ideas or work with the birthday coordinator to design a unique project. Using different handbuilding techniques, an experienced instructor will guide participants step-by-step to create a clay project to last a lifetime.

    • Ages: Children turning 6-16

    • Group Size Maximum: 15 Participants

    • Cost: $380 (includes up to 8 participants) Additional participants are $40 each.

    • Payment: $215 deposit is required to hold the scheduled date. Balance is due at the date of the party.

    • Length: The party is 1.5 hours of hands-on creation time and 30 minutes for cake.

    • What’s included: A dedicated instructor and classroom for your party; Personalized e-Invites to email to guests. Use of the kitchen for cake time. (You provide the supplies and cake); Firing and packing of projects—ready to easily be returned* to party-goers.

    • *Drying, firing, and glazing takes approximately three weeks. You’ll receive an email when the projects are ready for a pick up.

  • Throwing on the potter’s wheel: Have a muddy fun time learning how to center, open and pull walls using the wheel. A Clayworks instructor will with your group to have an experience on the wheel.

    • Ages: Children turning 11-16

    • Group Size and Cost: $330 for up to 6 participants / $500 for 7-10 participants

    • Payment: $215 deposit is required to hold the scheduled date. Balance is due at the date of the party.

    • What’s included: A dedicated instructor** and classroom for your party. Personalized e-Invites to email to guests. Use of the kitchen for cake time. Firing and packing of projects—ready to easily be returned* to party-goers. **If there are 7+ participants a 2nd instructor will be added.

    • *Drying, firing, and glazing takes approximately three weeks. You will receive an email when the projects are ready for a pick up.
