Nate Svitko

Nate Svitko is a multidisciplinary artist with an ever-changing interest in finding different processes to understand and explore. Originally starting out in printmaking, his work has evolved through drawing, paint, and digital constructions before finding its way to clay.

Although the medium and themes may change, the constant thread holding everything together is that love for process and an obsession with problem-solving. After taking wheel-throwing classes, he found that the medium involved just that at every step.

As a studio artist, he hopes to continue his work in surface design and alternative firing methods, such as Raku, while being an active part of the Clayworks community.
